If you have a skill and the desire to contribute, OTMDC would welcome you.

Olde Towne Medical & Dental Center serves an average of 1056 patients a month. This would not be possible without the aid of 643 hours of volunteer effort per month. There are a variety of opportunities. Volunteers serve as health care providers, interpreters, clerical support and in special functions.

Our health care providers include local physicians, nurses, dentists, and dental assistants providing quality care in our excellent medical facilities.

If you have a skill and the desire to contribute, OTMDC would welcome you.

Serving a diverse cultural community, OTMDC utilizes volunteer interpreters. Our interpreters work closely with the patients in completing paperwork and often work directly with the patient and health care provider.

Volunteer clerical support is extremely important and beneficial. The many options available include the following:

  • assisting with the Medication Access Program

  • making patient appointment reminder calls

  • registering patients for immunizations

  • retrieving and filing patient charts

  • providing support to the business office

  • assisting with fund raising and special events throughout the year

Unique volunteer opportunities range from adhoc committees, standing committees up to the Board of Directors. Fund raising and special events are another area that requires a wide range of skills.

Generally, you can schedule the number of hours you wish to volunteer based on your availability. OTMC provides the flexibility that you need to make a difference.
